In eigener Sache – On the Day of German Unity (35th Edition)

Aktualisiert: 4. Okt.

Today, October 3rd 2025, we celebrate the Tag der Deutschen Einheit – the Day of German Unity.

For me, it is also a moment of personal reflection: ten years in “G’Old Germany” have given me plenty of opportunities to rethink, review, and occasionally re-do strategies in a world shaped by geopolitics far beyond our control.

What we can control, however, is how we connect and grow together. Looking back to the time before 1990 reminds us of how difficult things once were – not only in Germany but across Europe and beyond. The „Reunification“ was and has neither been easy nor smooth, yet it created the foundation of the modern Germany we know today.

Our own Geo-Network reflects a similar spirit of bridging divides. It has grown steadily, sometimes in leaps – as with Argentina almost a decade ago – and sometimes quietly, as we now explore opportunities in Italy. Every connection, every collaboration adds to a greater whole.

Today, we commemorate those who endured hardship and contributed, each in their own way, to the process of reunification. Their combined efforts made unity possible. And while Germany – like every nation – still faces challenges, we are reminded that progress is always possible when people dare to come together.

So we ask: “Can You Dare?”

Are you ready to contribute, even in small ways, to building something meaningful, constructive, and shared?

Our hope is that our own modest contributions – within Germany, Europe, and through our global geo-network – can play a part in strengthening the fabric of unity in a world that feels highly fragile - perhaps to many: more than ever.

In this spirit, we believe that Germany – together with trusted partners in the USA, Canada, Argentina, Italy, and many others – can play a vital role in shaping projects that both protect our environment and support the industries that drive prosperity. Unity means building bridges, not walls: between nations, between sectors, between growth and sustainability. Our geo-projects aim to be exactly that bridge – local in action, global in impact.

Because true unity is not only about nations coming together – it is about people, industries, and the environment finding common ground to thrive together.

Germany’s unity story shows us what can be achieved when differences are overcome. With our partners in North and South America and across Europe, we now strive to apply that same spirit to geo-projects that safeguard the environment and strengthen diverse industry branches. Because only by uniting protection with progress can we create a future worth building – locally, nationally, and globally. (2B q.e.d.)
